So, in this dearth of information, it makes the release of a new synopsis for the movie all the more significant – Continue reading

News: Sony Pressing Ahead With Venom, Chronicle Director Josh Trank Being Circled
Posted in Comics, Movies, News, Thoughts with tags Chronicle, Eddie Brock, Josh Trank, Marvel, Marvel Universe, Peter Parker, Sony, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 3, Symbiote, The Amazing Spider-Man, Venom on March 14, 2012 by Bjorn GraingerI haven’t had the opportunity to see Chronicle yet. From what I’ve heard it’s a fine superhero movie that isn’t a superhero movie, and does well within the increasingly over-used ‘found footage’ genre. It’ll come as no surprise then that Chronicle director Josh Trank is being circled by Sony to head up its Spider-Man spin-off, Venom. Continue reading

I generally like to stick to the facts. This one, though, is a goodie. As Shane Black and Robert Downey Jr. are about to launch into full production of Iron Man 3 (code-named Caged Heat), the first possible leaks of the film’s plot may have come to light. Christian Bale is pulling his fiercest, most comic book-like pose ever as The Bat. I love it. We’ve had a lengthy trailer from both The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers, isn’t it time Chris Nolan gave us The Dark Knight Rises one? Continue reading

So, with Ghost Rider – Spirit Of Vengeance (a sequel of sorts), directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor of Crank fame have been brought in to shake some life into the series. Have they been successful? Let’s see. Continue reading
