Director Shane Black and Robert Downey Jr. might be busy filming Iron Man 3 in North Carolina but that won’t stop the film having a panel at San Diego Comic Con. Will we see some brief footage? Let’s hope. In the meantime a piece of concept art has been released showing RDJ’s Tony Stark in a compromising situation. Continue reading

You don’t need me to tell you The Avengers has been HUGE. A billion dollars box office in NINETEEN days. To put that in to perspective, it took Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight six months to reach the billion dollar mark. Marvel/Disney are dancing all the way to the bank, but what happens now? It’ll be three years until Avengers 2 if we’re lucky, what shall we do in the meantime? Worry not, Marvel has some plans (apparently)… Continue reading

Would Marvel Studios really bring all their heroes (licensing willing) together in one movie? Could they? Four years and four films laying the groundwork (The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger), and we arrive at the big moment – The Avengers. And my gosh, are we ready for it.

It’s the return of our favourite SHIELD operative! No, not Nick Fury, Black Widow, or Hawkeye. I’m talking Agent Coulsen. In the last short, available on the soon-to-be-released Thor Blu-Ray/DVD, it detailed the happenings between Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk in an episode called The Consultant (which you can see here). In this episode, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor’s Hammer, we discover what happened when Coulsen stopped babysitting Tony Stark in Iron Man 2 and took the trip to New Mexico in Thor.

Shallow? Yes. Sexist? Possibly. A flimsy excuse to cover The Shootening in Hollywood’s loveliest ladies? You betcha!

10. Rosario Dawson.

Ah, Rosario. You’re lovely. It’s the smile, I think. Definitely the smile. Did you know her début was in 1995’s controversial Kids, along side indie favourite Chloë Sevigny? No, neither did I ’til I read her wiki page. Anyway, why is she number ten in my list? Hers isn’t the most glittering of filmographies. Well, she qualifies through the gorgeous to look at but empty and vacuous Sin City, and I freaking loved her turn in Grindhouse: Death Proof. Mostly, though, because I want her to be cast as Wonder Woman. It’s the smile…
